Feng Shui And House Numbers

When buying a new house many people who are interested in Feng Shui will stop and think about the house number. Whether or not house numbers are important to Feng Shui is actually quite a complicated topic. The house number on its own cannot cause you any problems, however it can do if there is something else out of balance. The best numbers according to Feng Shui are 1, 6 and 8. The most unlucky numbers in Feng Shui include 2, and 5. It's a great idea to try and choose a good number for your new home, but it's not always possible to select a good number. When choosing a new home it is much more important to think about the area and the location rather than the number of the home. The direction of the home is also much more important in terms of Feng Shui than the number. 

Other things you will want to think about when buying a new home include looking around to see if there  are any negative things close to the home. Some people have suggested that the number of your house should be in harmony with your date of birth. 

So what can you do if your house number is unlucky? Well changing it is normally out of the question, so you can reduce its impact by changing the outside of your home. Create an attractive area in your porch which will make the house number less significant for example. 

If you do have lucky house numbers then it is normally possible to use them to your advantage. Lucky house numbers are thought to make it much easier to sell your home. You also need to spend time thinking about the annual star number when you are taking a look at your house number. Every year the numbers will change position into different areas and take on different meanings. You need to look at a chart to learn these annual numbers and what they mean. 

There are also many other ways that you can use to reduce the impact of unlucky house numbers, creating a good movement of chi around your home will improve things a great deal. If you're buying a new home and can choose the house number then you should always choose the lucky numbers, 1, 6 or 8. The rest are neutral, while 2 and 5 are the worst ones to choose.
